Event Horizon
Event Horizon is a concept album centered around the emotional turmoil brought about by the COVID-19 pandemic. We sought to take listeners through the wide variety of emotions that we felt during a time of great loss, uncertainty, and isolation.
As the album's recording engineer and producer, I had the great privilege of working with an unparalleled group of arrangers, vocalists, and engineers. The hundreds of hours spent recording in the studio and overseeing the album's creative direction outside of the studio were some of my best memories during my college experience.
I also performed on this album, largely as a vocal percussionist (When Demons Come to Life, Drink to Drown, Welcome to the Black Parade, Unself Portrait, It's Called: Freefall) and backing vocalist (almost all tracks). I also co-arranged and co-soloed on Nightmare.
