While I was a student, I took several classes at Stanford's Center for Computer Research in Music and Acoustics (CCRMA) in pursuit of a minor in Music. Between that and several hundred hours in the studio, I've had the opportunity to work on dozens of tracks. I work primarily with a cappella groups on recording projects and live shows. Since I was a vocalist and vocal percussionist (and two-year president) for the Stanford Harmonics, I am deeply familiar with a cappella arrangement and performance. This genre has its own quirks, and having been in the space, I would love to apply my experience to bring your project to life!
For studio tracks, I generally work on recording and editing. I've overseen multi-year projects through the entire release process -- conception, arrangement, recording, production, licensing, and distribution -- so I would be happy to help you learn about the process. I can also act as an album producer to manage the project across changes in group membership, and connect you with Grammy-winning mixing and mastering engineers to help share your talents with the world.
For live performances, I've organized all aspects of 10+ productions, from sound/lighting equipment acquisition to live mixing/lighting/livestreaming.
Projects I've worked on have been recognized on Voices Only, selected as Recorded A Cappella Review Board Album of the Year, and featured as Recorded A Cappella Review Board Track of the Year.
